Swords of Iron War Memorial Day for Hebrew Year 6595 begins at sundown on and ends at nightfall on .
Swords of Iron War Memorial Day (Hebrew: יום הזיכרון לחללי מלחמת חרבות ברזל) is an Israeli national memorial day commemorating the victims of the October 7, 2023 massacre and the fallen of the ensuing Swords of Iron War. Because the attack fell on Simchat Torah (22 Tishrei) and the following day is Isru Chag, the Knesset set the memorial day on the 24th of the Hebrew month of Tishrei, consistent with Israel’s practice of marking national days on Hebrew dates.
